Event Coordinator & Tasting Room Associate (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

ESSENTIAL PURPOSE: 
The Event Coordinator position must be an organized multi-tasker to assist the Event Sales Manager with planning and executing events. The Event Coordinator must be capable and excited to deliver world-class customer service and show enthusiasm for the brand while sharing the PlumpJack story to both our tasting room and event guests. This position is responsible for logistics the day of an event, wine sales during the event and must be able to maximize up selling and promote membership opportunities. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 
•  Execution of on-site winery events and experiences 
•  Serve as primary onsite contact for clients 
•  Organize and book all suppliers/vendors for events. Direct vendor staff to efficiently execute events 
•  Coordination on all event logistics including: functioning as the event lead, supervising and participating in set up and break down, vendor communication, directing rental delivery and placement, decor and all other special requests 
•  Able to adjust the flow of the event should guests arrive early or late all while sticking to a firm event end time 
•  Educate customers on company information and wine education through property tours and during their meal 
•  Ensure the Winery and the Tasting Room are cleaned and organized after each event 
•  Follow daily operating procedures (open/close) 
•  Assist with organization, inventory and management of event supplies 
•  Communicates any guest, operational, or facility related issues to Event Sales Manager regularly 
•  Oversees point of sale receipts related
