Essential Duties
• Graciously host guests providing a warm welcome, share the family story in a compelling manner and conduct an informative and engaging tasting experience. Translate a memorable experience into wine sales
• Inform guests of membership and benefits and recruit new members to our Wine Club.
• Accurately process sales, shipping details, client contact information, and client notes in AMS.
• Create and maintain relationships with upscale Napa and Sonoma Valley lodging partners, private drivers and peer winery personnel to increase guest traffic and sales.
• Assist in all daily hospitality duties including; answering phones, resolving guest issues, and performing tabletop set-up/ clean up.
• Be responsive and timely in solving customer issues and/or complaints (in person, on phone and via email)
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, the ability to solve problems and complaints.
• Closing duties including daily inventory counting, reconciliation and restocking.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in business with Sales/Marketing/Business Development or equivalent experience working with guest and proven ability to close sales.
• Minimum three years of experience in sales, and a love of wine, strong wine knowledge preferred, but not required.
• Polished hospitality skills and sound judgement
• Possess excellent communication and customer service skills
• Able to work independently, multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
• Team player with a professional attitude and positive disposition
• Proven ability in closing and up-sell
• Ability to work weekends and holidays is required
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for eight
