An established Nantucket full-license wine store is looking for a General Manager with experience in the beverage industry. The ideal candidate should possess retail experience, a customer-focused attitude, strong leadership skills and a passion for the wine and spirits industry. This manager will work alongside the business owner on a daily basis and will be involved in all front-end aspects of the business including ordering, product intake, training, oversight, and customer service.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have these qualifications:

• Highly motivated, detail oriented and a strong work ethic

• 2+ years managing people

• Experience training staff

• POS management experience

• Clear and effective communication skills

• Consistent, professional demeanor and appearance

• Experience fostering a positive & supportive team environment

• Experience using social media platforms

• Experience with inventory management

• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays

• Ability and willingness to lift up to 50lbs throughout an 8-10 hour shift

• 21 years of age or older
