About Us:
All Aspects at the Barn is a unique, family-friendly destination! We have a store in a 3,000 sq ft restored barn along with a coffee & espresso bar. We also have a petting farm, host events and DIY workshops, offer pavilion rentals, and operate a full venue for weddings and gatherings.
Our Wine Cottage is an on-site experience where guests can relax, enjoy wine, beer, and light bites, and gather during events. There’s always something happening—from tastings to private parties—and no two days are ever the same.
What You’ll Do
As a Wine Cottage Attendant, you will create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for guests while serving wine, beverages, light food, and treats in our onsite Wine Cottage. You will provide excellent customer service, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and assist with pavilion events and rentals by helping with setup, cleanup, and ensuring each event runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Serving wine, beer, and light bites to guests
- Providing wine tastings and explaining offerings
- Answering questions and making recommendations in a friendly, approachable way
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked service area
- Handling transactions through our POS system
- Checking IDs and ensuring responsible alcohol service
- Assisting during private events and parties at the pavilion
- Supporting setup and cleanup for events as needed
- Following all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Who You Are:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with guests
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting moderate weight
- Must be available Saturdays & Sundays
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced, event-style environment
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Excited to be part of a creative, hands-on small business
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous serving, bartending, or hospitality experience (preferred, but not required—we’re happy to train the right person)
- Interest in or basic knowledge of wine, beer, or hospitality
- Experience with POS systems and handling cash/credit transactions
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and during events
