Position Summary:
Frederick Wildman & Sons, the leading wine and spirits importer, seeks an Area Manager for the Minnesota market. The ideal candidate will reside in Minneapolis/St Paul area; have strong market knowledge, 1-3 years related work experience and excellent communication skills.
Position Responsibilities:
• Work effectively with distributor personnel and market accounts to achieve company goals
• Convey company objectives and marketing strategy to distributor and market
• Conduct sales meetings and training seminars for distributor sales people
• Conduct on premise staff trainings and in store tastings
• Spend 85% of time in the field, calling on key accounts
• Some overnight travel to ND, SD and IA
• Establish and maintain solid relationships with key accounts
• Provide weekly/monthly updates to Regional Manager
Job Requirements:
• College degree and/or equivalent work experience within Minnesota market
• Computer skills within Microsoft
• Valid MN driver’s license
• Ability and willingness to travel overnight
• Must reside in Minneapolis area
