Advanced Vineyard Systems, Inc. is located in Yamhill Valley Oregon, we seek to enhance the Oregon premier wine industry through the highest levels of precision viticulture. Combining a systems approach to viticulture with the knowledge and experience of generations of wine growers, we have become a symbol of quality in Oregon Pinot Noir. Our team works with a wide array of clients in many different sites, all with the ultimate goal of producing top tier wines.
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Vineyard Manager to join us.

Job description and responsibilities:
• Work under the direction and supervision of the General Manager and our Vineyard Managers.
• Work with Foremen and crew. Help with the training and development of vineyard laborers.
• Collaborate and execute on a comprehensive vineyard plan, with quality being the primary goal but with cost effectiveness in mind.
• Ensure the highest level of cleanliness and organization is maintained in all work spaces at all times. Ensure maintenance, servicing and upkeep of all machinery at sites under management is completed.
• Work alongside the crew, engaging in every manner of vineyard task, including but not limited to: pruning, tying, tucking, planting, spraying, weeding, mowing, general tractor work, irrigation, and harvesting.
• Complete written or digital documentation of all aspects of vineyard management.
Prerequisites:
• Viticulture degree or at least three years of vineyard experience. Preference given to candidates with supervisory experience.
• Mechanical aptitude, tractor experiences a plus.
• Must be computer proficient.
• Preference given to bilingual candidates (English/Spanish)
Pay Structure:
• Commensurate with experience
