Eli Zabar is seeking a wine professional to assist in the daily operation of his boutique wine store on the Upper East Side.

The ideal candidate should have:

-Great passion for wine, food and culture.

-Extensive knowledge of Old World Wines.

-Great communications skills to interact with a diverse and well-informed clientele.

-Strong computer and writing skills, and the willingness and ability to collaborate with web developer and wine shop manager on website maintenance and content creation including new product descriptions and material for our blog and newsletter.

-Proficient in computer programs like Word, Excel and Outlook.

-Ability to fulfill the physical requirements needed, including lifting boxes up to 40 lbs, restocking inventory and all the other standards of a retail wine operation.

-Availability on weekends and holidays required.

This is a part time position, up to 30 hours per week, compensation according to knowledge and experience.
