            Job Summary:
Monsieur Touton’s Purchasing Department is seeking an inventory analyst to support our purchasing department. The job will consist of reviewing a selection of portfolios on a regular basis, making purchasing recommendations and reacting quickly when inventory issues arise. The ideal candidate has experience in purchasing, fulfillment and inventory control, a positive attitude and ready-to-learn, teamwork-oriented approach.

While we work with a distributor network in 46 states, we also operate direct distribution in 10 states: New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Delaware, DC/Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida.

Duties/Responsibilities:
·         Reviewing various reports to see the status of inventory for each item in the portfolio 
·         Analyzing recent sales and forecasting supply needs for the next quarter 
·         Coordinating with the rest of the buying team to make sure orders are placed on time 
·         Coordinating inventory movement between locations with the internal logistics team and logistics service providers 
 
Required Skills/Abilities: 
·         Basic knowledge of import logistics
·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·         Excellent interpersonal skills: must be able to work as part of a team and communicate proactively
 
·         Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
·         Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
·         Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft office suite
 
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Related fields Preferred
1-2+ years’ Logistics or related experience
Foreign language: French (highly preferred), Italian, or Spanish is a plus
WSET or Similar wine diplomas favored, but not required.
