Position Summary: 
This position is responsible for sourcing a wide range of point of sale (POS) materials, including working with a portfolio of vendors, analyzing and negotiating quotes, coordinating special packs and print material production, tracking timelines and project milestones, initiating and receiving in purchase orders, as well as managing and signing off on invoices. This position also evaluates (POS) inventories for reorders, monitors POS usage, reviews & executes field sales requests, and catalogs key brand and competitive information. 

The Brand Specialist will be aligned with a brand marketing team and work closely with the brand manager and assistant brand managers to support various projects/brands as needed. Projects range in scope from aiding in the development of marketing ideas to coordinating effective execution and some analysis of brand and program performance. Secondarily, the Brand Specialist may also work across brand teams on varying department wide projects or tasks. Some administrative duties will include file and database maintenance. 

Role Qualifications: 
- High school diploma 
- 1-2 years’ work-related experience 

Position Responsibilities:

Essential Skills and Experience: 
- Ability to work in a team and be a self-starter 
- Strong project management and organizational/time management skills 
- Able to manage multiple competing priorities 
- Strong attention to detail 
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills 
- Comfortable expressing ideas in a group setting 
- High proficiency using Excel as well as expertise in using software such as Word, PowerPoint and Google websites 
- Possess quality oral and written communication skills 
- Familiarity with print production and design terminology 
- Capacity to travel as needed (approximately 5-10% of time) 

Valued but not required skills and experience: 
- Prefer some college or equivalent experience 
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Google websites 
- Experience in a distilled spirits industry
