Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Regional Sales Manager for Los Angeles. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, engaging directly with customers, clients, and wine lovers. Your mission will be to enhance our brand presence through in-store demos, customer and client interactions, and participation in festivals and events. This position reports to the Director of Sales.

Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $50,000- $60,000 per year base salary with an attractive commission plan. Perspective total comp range expected to be between $100,000- $150,000.

Experience:

  • Wine sales: 5 years (Preferred)

Work Location: On the road

Key Responsibilities

· Customer and Client Interactions: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

· In-Store Demos: Conduct engaging and informative in-store wine demonstrations to educate consumers about our products and drive sales.

· Festival Participation: Represent Opolo at various festivals and events, showcasing our wines to a broader audience and generating brand excitement.

· Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with our marketing team to develop and execute sales strategies, promotions, and campaigns that resonate with our target market.

· Relationship Management: Develop and nurture supplier/buyer relationships, identifying opportunities to strengthen existing partnerships and create new ones.

· Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to adapt sales strategies effectively.

Required Qualifications

· Experience in Wine Sales: Preferably with a proven track record in the wine industry.

· Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to create and maintain supplier/buyer relationships.

· Adaptability: Ability to think on your feet and discover innovative ways to enhance partnerships and generate new business opportunities.

· Passion for Wine: A genuine appreciation and knowledge of fine wines.

· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Flexibility: Willingness to travel within Southern California and work weekends or evenings as required by events.
