Job Summary:

To help customers discover and purchase products they love by sharing your knowledge, experience and passion for wine, beer or liquor.

Job Duties:

1. Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly atmosphere which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, consulting on product selection, assisting with purchase and carry out and any other component of excellent service.
2. Assist with inventory controls (Generate/Receive PO's, Monthly Inventory Counts)
3. Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels, displays; ensure selling floor is adequately stocked.
4. Analyze and measure sale trends and reports; develop and implement plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals and objectives.
5. Develop and maintain knowledge through continuing education on products.
6. Be compliant with all policies and procedures.
7. Be safety oriented by following all known safety procedures and utilizing good operational, loss prevention and safety judgment at all times.
8. Any other responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.

Job Requirements:

1. Must be minimum 21 years of age
2. High School Diploma or equivalent
3. Ability to read, count and write and communicate accurately in English
4. Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
5. Solid communication skills and willingness to work well with Supervisor and Co-Workers in a team environment
6. Ability to accurately and quickly process information thorugh POS register system
7. Willingness to work a flexible schedule to include a combination of mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift (up to 8 hours). Must be able to stoop, bend, grasp, and perform repetitive motions. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance. Must be able to move large quantities of merchandise with carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other moving equipment. Some walking and stair climbing may be required.
