Position Summary/Mission

Carboy Winery, a unique Colorado winery is looking for Wine Specialists (Sales & Hospitality Associate) to join our Tasting Room Team on a full-time basis. We hire people, not positions! We are looking for positive self-starters with strong leadership attributes who are flexible and love working in a team environment. Hospitality and restaurant experience along with a strong wine knowledge are required. More importantly, someone who knows how to have a great time while selling wine with a smile. Carboy Winery is a négociant winery in Littelton, Colorado. Our mission was to work with other winemakers and vineyards from prominent wine regions from around the world and source the grapes, juice, and wine to make, blend, and age our brand of Carboy wine. In September of 2016, we opened the doors to our first location in Littleton, Colorado featuring 14 wines harvested from regions in California, Washington, Oregon. In fall of 2017 in addition to our out-of-state harvests, we harvested 7 varietals from Western Slope regions in Colorado and opened our second location in Breckenridge, Colorado. In 2018 our Colorado harvest grew to 68 tons and is on track for 100 tons this fall.  Unique to the market, at Carboy Winery you not only can purchase world-class wine in a bottle but also in a one-liter refillable Carboy growler fresh from the tap.

Posiition Responsibiltites

·       Provide excellent and professional customer service, with an emphasis on creating customer loyalty and retention. 

·       Perform daily tasting room duties: conduct tastings and tours, restock wine, wipe down tables, bus and wash glasses, serve food, participate in events. 

·       Build long-lasting relationships with the local community, acting as a brand ambassador, promoting all the locations.

·       Understand POS programs to process sales.

·       Other duties, as assigned.

Professional Qualifications

·       Previous tasting room, sales & hospitality, restaurant, or wine retail experience.

·       Must possess excellent communication and strong organizational skills.

·       Must be 21 years of age or over.

·       Work evenings, weekends and holidays.

·       Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

·       Stand for long periods of time.

·       Be energetic, accountable, and team oriented.

·       Maintain appropriate professional dress and personal hygiene standards.

·       Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment with a positive attitude.
