Boutique winery in Sonoma area is looking for a full time tasting room employee. Wine knowledge and experience with POS systems preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Open/close the tasting room
• Feel at ease speaking about wine and the wine making process. All while driving sales and club sign ups.
• Project the highest standards of hospitality and positive relations with customers and coworkers.
• Participate in winery-sponsored wine education and developmental opportunities.
• Assist with special winery hospitality events as required.
• Contribute to the team atmosphere and be willing to jump in where needed
• Clean, organize, and stock tasting room/retail area.
• Make sure tasting room/restrooms are clean and tidy.
• Wash and polish glassware
Requirements:
21 years or older
Have reliable transportation
Feel comfortable selling wine and wine clubs
Weekend availability
Positive/teamwork attitude
Passion for wine
Lift 50lbs and stand for long periods of time
