KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Proactively greet all customers as they enter the department in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner.
• Assist customers in selection and recommendations.
• Request proper identification to sell liquor, beer, and wine.
• Complete customer transactions quickly and accurately with proper control of all cash according to cash handling procedures.
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of the shift to ensure amounts are correct and that there is adequate change. Also count money and neatly arranges deposit at end of shift.
• Keep current and continually expanding knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits.
• Assist in regular department inventories and ensure stock rotation.
• Organize, stock and face Beverage Department products.
• Maintain displays, sales floor and storage areas in clean, orderly condition according to department procedures, and all aspects of sales floor operations.
• Receive and unload deliveries/ logging of all invoices daily. Check deliveries for damage, quality and accuracy. Rotate deliveries into storage. Ensure proper product dating and labeling procedures are followed. Notify management of any possible discrepancies or concerns.
• General cleaning and maintenance of sales area, floor, spot mop, shelving, grinders, bins, signs and coolers.
• Alert management to low inventories or out-of-stocks of products and supplies.
• Perform other tasks assigned by Beverage Manager.

• Organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to make decisions using good judgment.
• Ability and interest to learn about products.

Special Requirements:

• Must be 21 or older.
• Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work with sanitizers and clean.

Schedule: 7am - 3pm Saturdays & Sundays

Mon - Wed Opening (7am - 3pm ) or mid shift (9am - 5pm)
