We are passionate about food, wine and Italy. We currently are looking for an experienced wine sales representative for the San Francisco/North Bay Territory. An opportunity for unlimited growth awaits the organized professional with in-depth knowledge and passion for Italian wine. We offer an excellent commission structure and pay, plus specific expenses reimbursement.
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position requires the ability to call on both on and off premise accounts. The successful candidate will establish and foster growth within existing territory and will maintain a continuous effort and target appropriate accounts to increase sales. This is accomplished through providing outstanding customer service and by developing a regular calls pattern, managing after-sales follow through and documenting follow-through. This position requires cold calling as a means of growing the customer base, however there is a strong number of established accounts that will be handed over. The self-structured call scheduling of this position demands flexible hours. Contact management reports, and supplier ride-along are requirements of this position.
Qualifications:
3+ years Wine sales experience, 3 years working with Italian wines within wine shop, restaurants, or previous sales position.
Comprehensive Italian wine knowledge.
Restaurant experience helpful.
Excellent customer service and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, hardworking, responsible and organized.
Have access to a computer and smart phone.
Must have functional knowledge of Microsoft, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
Must own a car, have insurance, and clean Driver’s License record.
Ability to lift and carry 40 lb case of wine.
Lives in the Bay area preferred.
