Assistant Manager Wine Shop (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Established in 2003, Hinsdale Wine Shop continues to be one of the most successful wine shops in the country.

We are searching for a poised, energetic, customer focused individual to be the Assistant Manager at Hinsdale Wine Shop. This role includes assisting in the daily operation of the wine shop including sales, signing up new monthly members, writing monthly tasting notes, creating Instagram & Facebook posts, completing deliveries, and much more. Most importantly we are looking for someone who not only enjoys drinking wine but is enthusiastic about learning about fine wine and craft beer. We are looking for someone with great customer service, positive attitude, and most importantly, an eagerness to work. Experience in retail and sales is highly preferred. Please do not apply if you do not like wine. Wine knowledge is not necessary, but preferred.

The requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Driver's license & ability to drive is needed

• Ability to lift a case of wine (12 bottles)~40lbs
• Weekend schedule required

Typical Daily Tasks:

• selling wine and beer/cashiering

• receiving, pricing & stocking orders

• building mass email marketing for thousands and custom personalized emails for select customers

• researching different beer & wine, preparing tasting notes for wines

• expand highly successful wine club

• creating Instagram & Facebook posts and other social media ads

• making deliveries

• daily organizing, cleaning/dusting, sweeping
