Bacigalupi Vineyards, a small family run operation, is looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Focus on providing great hospitality and customer service
- Enthusiasm for wine
- Professional appearance and upbeat demeanor
- Must be 21 years old
- Retail sales experience a plus
- Proficient in word, Excel, and email
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet all visitors to the winery and pour wines for tasting.
- Conduct small group tours of the vineyards
- Describe wines, winemaking techniques, and family history; answer visitors' questions.
- Effectively suggest and sell wine to customers.
- Accurately handle routine purchasing transactions through our POS, which include operating cash register and accounting of daily sales; processes returns, discounts, etc.
- Provide general tourist information.
- Prep paperwork for shipping orders
- Fulfill shipping orders through UPS and Fed Ex
- Assist with hospitality special events as needed.
- Wash and polish glassware for Tasting Room.
- Assist with display and pricing of retail items and wines as needed.
-Assist with social media postings, Facebook and Instagram
- Other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
Salary Information:
Hourly, commission and wine incentives
