Quivira is a family owned winery producing handcrafted, estate grown Dry Creek Valley wines. We specialize in small lot wines from a diverse set of varietals ranging from signature grapes like Sauvignon Blanc and Zinfandel to lesser-planted ones including Counoise and Montepulciano. Our lots are tied closely to the unique terroir of our sustainably farmed estate vineyards.
We’re looking to fill two distinct positions on our 2021 Harvest team:
• Harvest Laboratory Intern – Works directly with the winemaking team on analysis, fermentation monitoring and additions and development of new protocols and procedures.
• Harvest Cellar Intern – The backbone of our harvest team. Tasked with grape sorting and crushing, punchdowns and pumpovers, barrel work and forklifting.
All positions will be required to lift and carry 50 lbs., utilize basic arithmetic and measurement skills, clean and sanitize equipment, follow detailed verbal and written instructions, work long days & weekends, stand for long periods of time, climb stairs and ladders and work in a safe and efficient manner.
