Summary:

 Merchandiser is responsible for providing excellent customer service by stocking and merchandising various products, building displays and completing store resets in grocery stores, convenience stores and club stores including Sam’s Club. Salary is based on daily rate.

Job Duties:

• Provide excellent customer service to accounts
• Stocking, merchandising and rotating product on displays and shelves to standard requirements
• Run Delivery and Sales routes and supports major deliveries by assisting the delivery driver with unloading product, checking in and stocking order
• Build wine & beer displays and store resets
• Reporting of daily activities within assigned territory
• Assist in running On and Off Sales Representatives vacation routes

Job Requirements:

• High School degree or equivalent required; additional education preferred
• Previous sales, merchandising or pull-up experience preferred
• Must be 21 years old and must qualify for an ABC Wholesale Salesmen permit
• Must be able to communicate effectively and attention to detail is required
• Ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly
• Active NC issued drivers license and clean motor vehicle record
• Must be able to work in hot/cold conditions and refrigerated areas
• May be required to work holidays and weekends
