An established New Jersey Retailer is hiring a full-time position in Green Brook, New Jersey. This large retail store feature's a 9,000 square foot retail space and a wine bar attached. We are family-owned and are strongly focused on delivering the highest customer service to our patrons. We are a medium-size store with a focus on artisan-crafted products from around the world. We are a passionate group with plenty of focus on products. That said, we take pride in our comfortable and friendly approach to retail hospitality. Come join our friendly and dynamic group of beverage professionals. Applicants must have a fundamental knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits. Restaurant or general hospitality-based experience is great! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Weekend and Holidays are a must, but we are flexible.
Must be able to carry 40 pounds.
Must be able to be on feet for long periods.
Must want to learn about the products and grow with our store.
Must be able to keep up with a high-paced, high-stress environment during our busy times of the year.

Full-time Applicants-
3 years of wine/beer industry or retail experience necessary.
Manages all subordinate sales floor employees. Responsible for the direction, coordination, and evaluation.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Coordinates sales and promotional activities of the store.
Coordinates scheduling of all Sales Floor Employees.
Reviews operational records and reports to General Manager to project sales and to determine store profitability.
Review sales data with the GM to manage and maximize the velocity of our focused products.

Weekend work is required.
Open and close store, along with making daily deposits.
