Logistics and Inventory Manager (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

The Position

Coravin is recruiting a Logistics & Inventory Manager to join the US Operations team to lead the day to day 3PL logistics, inventory, procurement and vendor management activities in conjunction with the global operations strategy. The role reports to the Senior Director of Operations.

More specifically, areas of responsibility include:

Logistics - inbound / outbound

• Manage the day-to-day warehouse relationship of 3PL’s incl. freight forwarders / warehousing / order fulfillment / 3PL training / warehouse KPI’s /

• Work with 3PL and IT teams to setup EDI fulfillment for new retailers and their buyers

• Manage the day to day EDI fulfillment / reporting process.

• Assess current 3PL, performance metrics/SLA’s, and reconcile monthly invoices

Inventory management

• Close collaboration with sales & marketing / 3PL / Finance on a clear inventory strategy, maintain control and appropriate levels on inventory.

• Daily & monthly reconciliations of inventory transactions between 3PL and Coravin Systems.

• Month End/Year End inventory cycle counts & annual audit

• Work with accounting team to ensure timely accurate Inventory receipts into the Accounting system.

• Work with the Manager of Operations to resolve chargebacks and remediate issue going forward.

 Procurement & vendor management

• Working with the Manger of Operations to source local new / existing inventory working with engineering, product development, Marketing &, Sales.

• Assessment of vendors & quotes, creating & issuing purchase requests, PO’s and invoicing vendors.

• Management of Vendor lead-times, MOQ’s and pricing

• Ensure the local compliance, certification, safety, best cost and quality of material management.

Minimum Requirements

• BA or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of warehouse / logistic management

• Consumer products experience
• Ability to travel as required
