The company has a 50-person strong, high performance US sales team with robust distributor and key account relationships.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Area Manager to join our Southern team based in Atlanta. This exciting role will be responsible for wholesaler management and in-market execution. You will join a great team at Delegat where you will be set up for success and your career will grow.

  • You will prepare detailed and comprehensive business plans
  • You will be responsible for all channels of trade across four states
  • You will provide support to wholesaler network in addition to establishing strong business relationships
  • You will assist in continued growth of one of the most successful organizations in industry

Here is your opportunity to join the Southern Team as an Area Manager for Retail for Georgia, South Carolina, Kentucky and Tennessee. It is our deep preference that the ideal candidate be based in the Atlanta Area.

This is a role where you will drive business growth and development through agreed business plans, supporting our customers in the Food and Drug Channels, On-Premise, and Independent Package channels.

You will actively seek out to develop and maintain enduring relationships with key accounts in collaboration with our distributors, selling the Oyster Bay and Barossa Valley Estate opportunities, achieving distribution objectives and executing programs to drive rate of sale.

About you

  • You will have a 4-Year college degree qualification;
  • You will have demonstrated at least 5 years’ experience within a sales environment, preferably in the alcohol, beverage, hospitality or consumer goods industry;
  • You leverage your genuine authentic personality to build relationships founded on mutual trust
  • You have strong analytical and financial skills and can influence effective outcomes based on sound reasoning and advice.
  • You have the flexibility to travel within assigned territory.
