Events and Wine Club Manager (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Our Events and Wine Club Manager is responsible for the overall development of all winery events and strategic planning for the wine club. This role will be an important part of growing our business in the coming years through creative engagement of existing members and cultivating new customer relationships. We are looking for a leader with strong background in customer service, hospitality and experience in retail wine sales, events and club management. 

Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:

Event responsibilities
•  Create engaging events that drive sales, customer retention and attracts new guests to the winery
•  Club Events. Host six wine club member event weekends during processing months 
•  Distributor Retreat. Coordinate this annual multi-faceted event, hosted on and offsite, for 30 attendees, over 4 days in August
•  Events inclusive of dinners, luncheons, winery sponsorships with various foundations/the arts 
•  Rentals of Roosevelt Room for private customers or used for philanthropic purposes 
•  Working with restaurant partners, vendors and coordinating all details associated with creating unique and memorable experiences 

Club 
•  Strategic vision for wine club inclusive of featured wines, growth opportunities, membership retention
•  Estimate case sales, manage inventory and anticipate growth for Club tiers 
•  Tracking memberships for commission and reporting purposes 
•  Training, motivating and encouraging staff to sell club 
•  Hosting Club Members in tasting room or private seated tastings as needed

Marketing responsibilities
•  Content and copy for email communications involving events or club. Editing and proofing final copy of communications in conjunction with our Creative Director. 
•  Event listings including coordination of information to publications
•  Club newsletter and design 

Required
•  Experience preferred in hospitality, events, or restaurant management 
•  Creative writing skills required with a strong attention to detail in written and verbal communication 
•  Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously 
•  Ability to work a flexible schedule, inclusive of weekends throughout the year and specifically the week of July 20 through August 5th, 2018 
•  Ability to lift and move furniture, cases of wine or other aspects associated with set up and breakdown of events 
•  Valid OLCC license or the ability to get one 
•  Over 21 years of age
