The Brand Ambassador will focus on forming essential partnerships with Industry influencers as well as leverage their existing relationships, and will act as an expert in trade affinity, outreach and mixology. This role will serve to increase brand awareness amongst consumers, drive menu placements, lead staff/consumer trainings and mix cocktails for the spirit brand while at industry events.

Position will manage key relationships with outside vendors and Brand Ambassadors representing Pernod Ricard USA products. Ability to plan and execute business plans based upon budget and forecast expectations. Work with Brand Marketing to understand and assist in product launches

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as product knowledge experts for this spirit brand.
  • Educate trade, PRUSA and distributor/broker partners on benefits and Key Selling points of the spirit brand
  • Support sales division teams with distributor meetings (GSMs), work-withs and trade events
  • Help expand on premise culture within PRUSA
  • Grow relationships and build good will in core set of influential accounts (per target account list)
  • Assist in cocktail and menu development as requested
  • Liaison to key trade groups in local markets, i.e., USBG
  • Assist in planning and execution of key local/ ad hoc events
  • Support large scale trade events and national initiatives
  • Support Brand programs and activation as required (based on program)
  • Serve as the market expert in the on premise and amongst industry peers (media, consumer, trade and internal Pernod Ricard team)
  • Attend media interviews as requested (via Pernod Ricard HQ)
  • Provide monthly recap of all activities
  • KPI monitoring
  • Report menu placements and market trends in on premise community

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills Required:

  • On premise familiarity and experience is required
  • Sales/marketing experience is preferred. (Spirits and Wine experience a plus)
  • Ability to work independently and plan their time/activities to meet their goals (KPIs)
  • Ability to manage and track budgets to perform to goals (KPIs)
  • WSET and good in both wine and spirits category
  • PR/media savvy
  • Training/public speaking/presenting skills
  • Event planning knowledge
  • Ability to design presentations using (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Some knowledge of the French language is preferred
  • Adherence to legal compliance
  • Time management skills
  • Willing to travel if requested
  • Willingness to work a FT, nontraditional, late night hours as required
