Apolloni Vineyards specializes in the production of premium Pinot Noir and traditional, Italian-style wines.

Owner/Winemaker, Alfredo Apolloni and his family live on the vineyard, situated in the northern Willamette Valley and home to Oregon’s newly designated Tualatin Hills AVA. This location, which also houses the winery, tasting room and underground barrel cave, lies just 25 miles west of downtown Portland. The vineyards, totaling 90 acres, include 45 acres of organically farmed Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Blanc. Both the vineyard and winery are certified sustainable by the LIVE (Low Input Viticulture & Enology) and the Salmon Safe programs. The tradition of winemaking in the Apolloni family dates back 150 years, with vineyards originally in northern Italy. The wines of Apolloni Vineyards represent the best of old world Italian tradition, brought to the soil of Oregon, demonstrating a quality of excellence in viticulture. Tasting Room Associate

Apolloni Vineyards is seeking part time tasting room associates. Looking for individuals with a passion for wine and hospitality. Our team provides exceptional customer service in a positive team oriented atmosphere.

General Duties

• Able to work 2-3 days/week, including weekends and holidays
• Educate customers regarding Apolloni Vineyards wines, our history and our facility
• Conduct wine tastings
• Provide guests with a memorable winery experience
• Promote the Apolloni Vineyards wine club to all customers
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of Tasting Room
• Wash and dry glasses
• Maintain wine inventory on floor
• Maintain wine and gift displays
• Organize supplies
• Break down recycling/take out empty bottles/check garbage
• Outdoor watering and garden maintenance
• Daily clean-up at end of day and during lulls

Must be 21 years or older.

Experience:

• Front of house Service Experience preferred
• Wine/Winery experience preferred
• Event experience preferred

License/Certification:

• Oregon Drivers License
• OLCC Servers Permit (can be obtained upon hiring)
• Oregon Food Handlers Card (can be obtained upon hiring)

Compensation: $15-$17/hr DOE + tips & bonuses

We are a small, LIVE certified and organically farmed, family-owned winery/vineyard producing approximately 9,000 cases annually. Working primarily with estate-grown fruit including Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay, we also grow and produce a small amount of Estate Nebbiolo and Sangiovese and our own Super-Tuscan style red. Through our Clients we work with Sauvignon Blanc, Gamay, Tempranillo, and both red and white Rhone varietals. We offer a pastoral country setting and Bocce courts as the northern outpost of the Willamette Valley in the Tualatin Hills AVA.
