Join a dynamic growing winery, located in north east San Diego County (Escondido). Position responsibilities include wedding and event sales and coordination, public and corporate marketing including social media and community outreach.
The ideal candidate has a track record of success for selling venue/event space, is extremely organized with impeccable follow through and provides excellent customer service. This position will manage all aspects of marketing our venue, booking the venue and managing the team to support all events. We are looking for someone that has the experience to grow the events business for the winery with a track record of managing and closing leads.
This is a part-time position to start with the potential to grow.
Summary of the Role:
Responsible for attracting, contracting and successfully executing rental events for the winery. Develop and execute marketing campaigns to increase event bookings. The Sales and Events coordinator collaborates with team members on wine club member events, music events, wine maker dinners as well as all guest appreciation events in order to continually grow brand awareness for the winery.
Requirements:
Prior event and sales experience
Marketing events experience
Outstanding customer service and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and impeccable follow through
Team Player
Proven track record and on-the-job experience
Must by 21 years of age or older
Computer skills including MS office products, internet browsers, google docs, calendar etc.
