OUR STORY
Founded in 2005 by owners Donna Morris & Bill Sweat, Winderlea is a boutique producer of Oregon Pinot noir and Chardonnay. Our historic 20 acre estate vineyard was planted in 1974 and our tasting room sits at its crest, overlooking the Dundee Hills. We also farm 2 other vineyards (one in the Dundee Hills and the other in McMinnville) for a total of 65 acres, as well as purchasing grapes from some of the most highly regarded vineyards in the Willamette Valley.

With deep respect to the indigenous communities that have taken care of this land, we are committed to continuing the traditions of responsible and sustainable land management. We are dedicated to the highest quality winemaking, and sustainability throughout our business. These commitments were most recently demonstrated in 2015 when Winderlea became the 4th winery in the world to achieve B Corp Certification and also received Demeter Biodynamic® certification for the Winderlea Vineyard estate in the Dundee Hills. Winderlea farms all of its vineyards Biodynamic ® and received certification on its vineyard in McMinnville in 2018 and will receive certification in 2022 for their 2nd Dundee property. Winderlea’s tasting room utilizes active and passive energy practices and proceeds from tasting fees are donated to ¡Salud!, an organization that provides health and dental care services to Oregon’s vineyard workers and their families.
