Our tasting room is very busy. We are a high-volume operation; much like a very busy, big restaurant. We operate multiple bar areas as well as offer traditional table service. Our events program is robust as well, and employment at Stoller Family Estate includes the opportunity to work at onsite and offsite events!

Now hiring Tasting Room Servers. We offer flexible hours, days, and shifts. We can work with your existing schedule or help you jump into a new one. This position is available immediately and is part-time, seasonal, requiring availability most Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. This seasonal position typically ends around September. Opportunity to become a full-time position exists for outstanding team members that demonstrate accountability, consistency, and leadership.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
-Open the tasting room; set up service stations, stock wine, set up dining room, etc
-Close the tasting room; break down dining room, clean up, stock bathrooms, balance money, etc
-Service; pour and verbally present wine flights, wine by the glass and bottle, enter food orders, deliver food, clear and bus tables, increase sales, enter shipping orders, sell merchandise, etc
-Promote our Wine Club; sell memberships, actively participate in monthly sales goals, and expand your take-home commission
-Continued education; attend training classes, seminars, improve your presentation, etc
-Accuracy and efficiency; enter in POS, shipping orders, food orders following proper procedures
-Demonstrate flexibility; expand your skill set and networking capabilities while working at catered functions, formal and casual seated experiences, private parties, community celebrations, and industry talks!

COMPENSATION
Hourly wage depends on experience. Opportunities for tips, commission, and bonuses. We are committed to your continued wine knowledge and career growth.

REQUIREMENTS
-A valid, current OLCC License and Oregon Food Handler's Card
-Previous restaurant experience
-Confident verbal communication skills and excellent customer service
-Be able to lift 40 lbs (a case of wine) multiple times throughout the day
-Be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, while contributing to our high-energy, friendly, upbeat hospitality
-Detail-oriented, self-motivated, on-time, team player
