Tasting Room and Event Associates (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Methven Family Vineyards is looking for professional, enthusiastic and hospitality minded individuals to join our dynamic DTC and event team. We have 2 locations, Our Tasting Room in Dundee and Our Estate in Dayton. Working between the two locations is a requirement.

Expectations:
•  Warmth while welcoming guests to our tasting room(s), while communicating our family story 
•  Takes the initiative to make every tasting experience engaging and memorable 
•  Handles purchasing transactions using the POS system and cash register 
•  Participates in on-going staff education
•  Presents a positive company image at all times 
•  Opening and closing duties daily, as requested
•  Must be able to self manage and keep a organized, clean work space
•  Punctual and dependable

Qualifications:
•  Minimum 1 year related experience 
•  Takes direction well and is able to effectively communicate 
•  Weekend availability along with evenings and holidays, our Dundee Tasting Room is open until 8pm- daily 
•  Must be able to work on your feet and lift 40 lbs 
•  Ability to work in a fast paced environment with grace and enthusiasm 
•  Must be at least 21 years of age and have an Oregon OLCC servers permit

Compensation: 
TBD based on experience, there is a lot of room for professional growth as we are building a dynamic DTC team.
