Overview
We are looking for friendly, outgoing, and energetic individuals to join our Tasting Room Staff as Part-time Seasonal Tasting Room Sales Associates for the summer.
Our ideal candidates will be detail oriented and organized, with great follow through and amazing customer service skills. We are looking for a hospitality-driven, sales focused self-starters.
Duties of this position include maintaining day-to-day focus on sales goals, and ensuring that all visitors to our Tasting Room enjoy a world-class experience. This position will include regular weekend shifts with event related evening shifts.
Responsibilities
- Open and close the tasting room and maintaining general cleanliness of tasting room
- Pouring wine and serving guests
- Daily preparation for all tastings, including but not limited to set-up and breakdown, preparation of private tastings, picnics, tours of winery
- Promote wine club
- Actively strive to reach sales and club sign up goals
- Accurately handles purchase transactions, operate a POS & accounting of daily sales
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Ensure neat, well organized and fully stocked merchandise displays and request supplies as needed
- Accurately follow all opening and closing procedures
- Assists with special events as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of and enthusiasm for wine
- Focus on providing great hospitality and customer service
- Prior restaurant, catering or food service experience a plus

- Detail oriented, multi-tasker and motivated
- Must be a team player and get along well with others
- Strong computer proficiency and data entry experience preferred
- Able to work in fast paced environment
- Efficiency in hosting multiple groups at the same time
- Professional appearance and upbeat demeanor
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Must be able to effectively stock wine and non-wine merchandise, set-up and break down structures, tables, etc.
- Ability to understand and accurately follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be age 21 or more and able to obtain an OLCC Alcohol Servers Permit
