Digital Content & Marketing Assistant Objective: The Digital Content & Marketing Assistant executes all aspects of the marketing efforts in tandem with the Domaine Serene vision and brand guidelines. This individual engages with all online assets and assists in promoting events, sales, and hospitality at our estates to elevate our social presence, digital reach, email marketing and online content to further the Domaine Serene Brand globally.
Core Position Expectations:
• Coordinates and executes updates of digital assets, including: website, online accounts, e-mail marketing platform, etc
• Develops and maintains strong social media presence by engaging with consumers and industry partners on multiple platforms
• Assists in editing of digital consumer-facing content
• Assists in editing of email marketing and assures email campaigns are sent on schedule
• Collaborates with various departments to keep marketing and sales projects on track
• Assists in collateral creation for various aspects of the business
• Coordinates and/or designs advertising in tandem with executive team
• Special projects as assigned
Desired Skills, Education & Experience:
• 1+ year(s) of experience in a marketing or communications position in the lifestyle, restaurant, resort, hotel, or winery industry
• 1+ year(s) experience with website creation and SEO
• Former editing experience a major plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
• Detail-oriented work habits and strong organization skills
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator a plus
• Experience with Mailchimp and other email marketing services a plus
• Familiarity with email marketing best practices
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
• Familiarity with major wine making regions of the world, Burgundy and Oregon a plus
Education:
• Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Marketing, Communications, or other Business major preferred
Professional Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates): OLCC Service Permit (not required, but a plus)
