55 Seventy is an 8,500 sqft private social club, tasting room, and wine storage facility located in Preston Center in the heart of Dallas, TX. We are looking for passionate, creative, wine sales and hospitality professionals with an ability to build relationships through a shared passion for wine and service.
The Wine Sales manager position will be responsible for management of our retail sales channel, administrative duties, and event-based sommelier duties as needed. This includes weekly email offers, sourcing special-order wine for members, and creating custom offers for members looking to acquire wines. All members of our wine team have input on the club’s wine collection, will be asked to lead wine tasting seminars at all levels of complexity, will participate in the creation of retail wine offers, and should be comfortable leading service and executing pairings for wine dinners and tasting menus for 14-28 people.
55 Seventy currently offers a highly curated list of 500+ selections focusing on classic regions and benchmark producers. Our ideal candidate will have exemplary leadership and communication abilities, a strong passion for wine with deep knowledge within the classic regions of the world and should demonstrate an ability to speak about wine to drinkers of all levels, understand the importance of humility within wine service, and should approach their work without ego.
Compensation range is $70,000 - $80,000 + commission, bonus, health benefits, vacation stipend, and the potential for growth within the company as we expand to multiple locations across the country.
