About Us: We are a small family owned and operated estate winery near Clearlake Oaks building an exclusive wine brand. In addition to being an estate winery, we will operate a Bed and Breakfast and Agricultural Homestay, giving us the unique ability to lodge and provide meals for a very small number of guests. We will provide a tailored, customer-centric experience that exceeds all expectations. It is this experience that will drive our direct-to-consumer wine sales.
About This Role: We are in the development stages of building our company and brand. You will have the opportunity to wear many hats and influence the growth of the company from the beginning. You will be an integral member of our small team of dedicated professionals. You can expect to work with motivated individuals who are enthusiastic about achieving our vision, and sit down often to have lunch together “family” style.
You will be the public face of all of our efforts and your roles will include: inn keeper, operating a by-appointment-only tasting room, managing the wine club customer relations and retention, marketing and sale of our wines online, building our brand through both traditional and grassroots marketing efforts, managing our website including an e-commerce and hotel booking page, as well as coordinate and shaping our social media presence. As the operation grows, we will hire additional staff for you to manage.

Experience in marketing, sales, and brand-building
Ability to conduct basic updating and edits of websites
Experience with video editing software and able to shoot and edit promotional videos as well as maintaining a youtube channel
Capable of running a successful social media campaign and implementing intentional social media strategy
Ability to cater meals for 10 people
Ability to oversee the work of others (housekeeping staff, caterer, etc)
A meticulous record keeper (cellar records, fermentation protocols, inventory, customer database, books)
Working understanding of Google Drive, Word, Excel or their Mac, Google equivalents
Either experienced with industry compliance or detail oriented enough to pick this up quickly
Can lift 20lb consistently and up to 50lb occasionally
It is our understanding that you won’t be able to assume all of the above roles at the same time. For instance, if you have guests in the B&B or Ag Homestay, this will consume the majority of your time leaving little or none for your other roles. However, when you do not have guests, other tasks can be accomplished. Once you are busy enough to find yourself unable to do everything yourself, the company will hire more staff.
Salary and Benefits: Compensation is an annual starting salary of $ 42,000 plus participation in a profit sharing plan. Several other benefits exist, which we will explain if you are invited to an interview.
