Wine Associates at Heringer Estates is an essential part of the sales team and often the first and most important point of engagement with guests. Our family estate is open daily from 11 am to 5 pm for wine tasting and private events. Additionally the estate is open for after hour events and participate in farmers markets and offsite events. Our Winery Associates wear many hats to welcome guests and create meaningful, relaxing experiences at the tasting room, at private events, and at the farmers markets.

This position is right for you if you are reliable, have an outgoing personality, love all the charms of farm life, thrive in a fast paced environment, and enjoy connecting with others. A passion for wine is not mandatory but a definite plus!
This is not your typical tasting room, "sit behind the bar and pour" type of position. At Heringer Estate we hold all of our team members to a high standard of performance and accountability in support of the family business. This position serves our guests in the tasting room, at private events, and at farmers markets.

Additional Responsibilities Include:
Serve guests at the Heritage Barn Tasting Room and private events with efficiency and a smile.
Independently maximize productivity during slower times by restocking and light housekeeping to maintain the Heritage Barn. On a farm there is always work to be done!
Be comfortable working with a variety of technology for daily sales and service.
Stay up to date on current promotions, sales initiatives, and specials to share with guests.
Operate at all times with the utmost integrity and loyalty to the team.
Go above and beyond the norm to serve others and grow as a leader among leaders.
Conduct light office duties and data entry as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Tasting Room Manager and Event Manager.

Experience:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and able to actively stand, or walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in an outdoor environment for long periods of time.
• Hospitality and sales experience are a plus!

Work Schedule:
Part time. Weekends are mandatory.
The ideal Winery Associate is someone that can flourish in various working environments and has a desire to grow both individually and professionally with Heringer Estates. Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $16.90 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
