Overview

Lead Breakthru Beverage wine category efforts. Drive the creation and execution of programs for the wine portfolio throughout the state.  Provide training and brand management of the wine portfolio in order to incubate brand awareness and accelerate growth.  Support sales teams to build emerging category.

  • Employ strategies that strengthen position to be the wholesaler of choice in the wine category
  • Proactively participate with Trade Development and Sales Management in strategy briefing sessions while continuously providing feedback on program execution and effectiveness
  • Assist Sales Management and Trade Development in the development of account specific presentations as well as goals for volume, profit, distribution and merchandising promotion execution
  • Obtain and communicate updated market competitive information
  • Provide comprehensive staff trainings
  • Serve as an expert consultant and  ambassador throughout the industry
  • Obtain and communicate updated market competitive information
  • Provide on-going and current assessments of execution results by channel, key account and individual customer
  • Lead wine category execution to new accounts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 5 years industry experience
  • Exceptional brand knowledge – Sommelier Certification preferred
  • Industry experience in local market preferred
  • Proficient MS Office skills

Physical Demands of Job:

  • Frequent hand motion with answering and dialing phones, computer work.
  • Occasional carrying and lifting of 15 pounds to perform various duties
  • Occasional immediate reaching and overhead reaching to perform various duties
  • Occasional standing and walking for short amounts of time to perform various duties
  • Extended sitting for long periods of time at desk or workstation
