With 16 schools and growing across the United States and Canada offering Levels 1, 2, 3, and Diploma, we are an industry leader in providing the highest quality of wine education.
It is in this capacity that we are looking for the perfect candidate to operate our courses in the Chicago area.
Applicants must be able to show the following skills and qualifications:
- WSET Diploma is a must;
- Have at least 10-years’ experience in the wine industry;
- Provide a list of a large number of wine regions visited around the world;
- Have excellent teaching and public speaking abilities;
- Exceptional organizational skills;
- Be recognized as a wine expert in the local area.
The position will be on a contract basis, and the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting WSET courses in Chicago. Requirements of this position include:
- Selecting wines according to curriculum guidelines within a pre-established budget;
- Preparing wine logs for each class;
- Preparing the classroom to ensure students are given the highest-quality education;
- Conducting classes in a timely and efficient matter;
- Invigilate exams according to strict WSET guidelines;
- Assist with promotional activities with Fine Vintage courses in the local area.
