Tsillan Cellars is looking for a Tasting Room Associate to work in our Chelan tasting room. Tasting Room Associates are responsible for ensuring all of our customers have a memorable experience at Tsillan Cellars. Job responsibilities include greeting customers, possessing knowledge of Tsillan Cellars wines, history, grape growing practices, etc. Serving wine tastings to multiple groups, providing excellent customer service, and working well with the entire tasting room team.

Job Description Details:

• Exceptional people skills. Demonstrate a friendly attitude to everyone who visits the winery.
• Flexibility. Weekends will be the primary time you will be working.
• Promote the Tsillan Cellars Wine Club to all customers and gain as many new members as you can.
• Effectively make wine recommendations and sell wine to customers.
• Restock wine racks and cabinets. Must be able to lift a 40lb case of wine.
• Carrying wine out to customers cars.
• Effectively use the POS to charge customers for wine tastings, bottles or merchandise.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Maintain a clean work environment in the tasting room.
• Includes clearing tables of dirty glasses, wiping down tables, emptying spit buckets, and emptying trash cans.

Qualifications:

• At least 21 years old.
• Obtain a MAST Permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent and/or qualified experience required.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Able to life up to 40lbs.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hrs per day.
