Join our energetic team at a 3rd generation, family owned and operated retail store and play a active role in creating a great wine experience for our customers!
Primary responsibilities include the Sale, Purchasing, and Marketing of Wine, while ensuring a high level of Customer service.
- Planning and coordinating wine seminars and dinners with the trade and restaurants.
- Developing wine promotions and campaigns to optimize buying strategies, managing inventory with the goal of increasing wine sales,
- Providing wine education to staff and customers
- Management of a subscription-based Wine Club,
- Creating content for marketing in newsletters, including tasting notes and recommended pairings.
Wine Knowledges and experience in the industry is a core requirement. Wine industry certificatons are not required, yet will add value. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 40lbs.
This full-time salaried position requires flexibility in scheduling, as it requires the ability to workdays, weekends and holidays. Benefits include health and dental insurance, 401 K profit sharing and paid vacation.
Salary commensurate with relevant experience
