Angelini Wine Ltd has a key opening for a knowledgeable wine and liquor professional to further develop our Fairfield County, Connecticut market.
Angelini Wine Ltd. is a well-established and respected importer/distributor specializing in representing small to mid-sized boutique wineries from Italy, Spain, France, Argentina, New Zealand, California and Oregon. We also represent authentic, top quality sakes from Japan, tequilas from Mexico, hand-crafted spirits from Washington state and artisanal beers and cordials from Italy. We pride ourselves on the quality of our products, our customers' satisfaction and our reputation in the marketplace.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and competitive person to join our family and share our passion for top quality wines and liquors with our clients. There will be a strong emphasis on ensuring that our clients understand our full portfolio and how it can enhance their business and their profitability. Developing new restaurant and retail clients, as well as strengthening existing relationships, will be keys to your success. Responsibilities and Duties
- accurately assess on premise and off premise account potential and develop a customized sales program to develop and maintain accounts
- canvas and acquire new accounts
- effectively communicate with other sales staff, suppliers, clients and management
- book and attend off hours events such as wine dinners, tastings, trade shows and fundraising events
- consistently educate clients on new offerings and explore additional marketing opportunities with them
- work with sales manager and owner to assist in generating additional sales
- attend bi-monthly sales meetings
- represent Angelini Wine Ltd. with integrity and professionalism
Qualifications and Skills
- The ideal candidate will possess:
- at least 2 years experience in the liquor industry
- a strong desire and commitment for outside sales and client development
- demonstrated ability to achieve sales and customer service standards with minimal supervision
- maturity to work independently
- perseverance and positive attitude
- basic computer skills - using company provided IPad
Compensation:
- Salary/commission to be mutually agreed upon
