About the Job

• Knowledge to maintain and improve the high quality of our wine list.
• Has a great presence on the dining room floor and can engage with customers and elevate their experience to the next level.
• Train staff on the vintages we carry along with proper wine service.
• Minimum 3 years experience. 
• Sommelier’s Certification preferred.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

This Massachusetts restaurant’s name and spirit were inspired by the Lafayette Escadrille – a squadron of the French Air Service formed in April of 1916. The squadron was composed of spirited and daring American fighter pilots who fought gallantly by day and relished fine food and drink at night. The true test of a restaurant is measured by service, quality and most importantly, time and after 45 years, Café Escadrille continues to serve delicious meals, as well as lunch and late night menus at our Burlington, MA location. In addition to a quality lunch and dinner service, Café Escadrille continuously adds new aspects to their menu. The famed restaurant now makes its own sushi. Café Escadrille also has an extensive drink menu, with rotating seasonal drinks and customized coffee drinks. However, our award-winning wine list is the star of the show! With hundreds of bottles to choose from and a sommelier who is always available to help you find the right bottle. The restaurant operates more like a family than a business. Many staff members have been employed here for over a decade. The restaurant has also been celebrated for its high number of female managers. The women of Café Escadrille play a major role in both planning and executing needs for the restaurant and banquet facility.
