Job Description
The Food and Beverage Manager oversees daily front-of-house operations at our hospitality venues, ensuring seamless service, efficient team scheduling, and a welcoming guest experience. This role manages wine and food logistics, team supervision, and overall venue readiness while working closely with leadership to achieve sales goals and uphold brand standards.
This is a full-time position, hours per week for this position are 40, nights and weekends required, schedule will vary.
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in hospitality, retail, restaurant, food & beverage, or sales
- TABC certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong leadership and delegation skills with experience supervising hourly staff
- Knowledge of point-of-sale systems, basic accounting, and inventory management
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities
- Ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Wine knowledge is a plus, but not required
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
Responsibilities
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences and maintain a positive brand image across all venues.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of food and beverage service, including staffing, cleanliness, POS, and inventory.
- Supervise the Club program, including member allocations, billing cycles, employee incentives, and sales targets.
- Interview candidates and participate in team onboarding, training, and performance reviews.
- Schedule associates to ensure adequate staffing that accommodates business needs, events, and employee availability.
- Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and recognize achievements.
- Maintain inventory of mixers, cider, wine, merchandise, and front-of-house supplies.
- Reconcile daily and weekly cash banking according to company procedures.
- Support wine and non-wine sales through team education and upselling strategies.
- Track and report sales metrics to executive management.
- Maintain compliance with TABC regulations and health/safety protocols.
- Collaborate with Events and Marketing teams to support promotions, materials, and guest communication.
- Represent the brand at off-site and on-site events as needed.
- Occasionally work outdoors and travel locally.
