Sales Account Manager (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage in-bound requests from listings and referral networking
  • Expand custom crush and alternating proprietor business
  • Develop bulk and custom finished wine business
  • Balance inside & outsides sales with emphasis on ability to prospect and gain new accounts by initiating phone and email conversations
  • Exercise exceptional talents and expertise in developing new business
  • Use entrepreneurial spirit with desire to consistently knock down new business
  • Align business objectives and sales goals
  • Exude a positive and pro-team work spirit
  • Consistently ensures internal sales database is updated and properly maintained for all accounts, contacts and opportunities
  • Interact closely with key brokers to improve relationship by providing samples, pricing, updated inventory, and wine technical data
  • Act as a professional liaison between Terravant and clients
  • Represent Terravant in a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable manner

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/STRENGTHS

  • 2+ years wine industry sales experience required
  • College degree or equivalent
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
