Marketing + Social Media Coordinator (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Brooklyn Winery is seeking a full-time Marketing + Social Media Coordinator for our urban winery. We are looking for a smart, creative and energetic person to continue to promote Brooklyn Winery wines, multiple restaurant/wine bar locations and private events via strategic partnerships and both traditional and new marketing channels.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Director of Operations to launch new marketing and sales initiatives
• Develop and manage ongoing promotions for multiple locations
• Coordinate email marketing efforts
  • Generate weekly email newsletters
  • Manage segmentation
  • Monitor and build automation series
• Manage social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) for all Brooklyn Winery accounts
  • Plan and maintain social media content calendar
  • Photograph and edit products, dishes, and spaces
• Coordinate with freelance graphic designer to create collateral materials
• Coordinate and grow e-commerce efforts through multiple channels
  • Manage wine release schedule and product details
  • Build and launch quarterly sales promotions and discount codes
  • Conduct weekly reporting
  • Manage wine club
• Manage company loyalty program
• Submit wines for reviews and competitions
• Make regular updates to website
• General customer service

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business or marketing
• 3+ years’ experience in marketing and social media
• Experience in wine or hospitality related industry a plus
• Must be proficient with MailChimp, including building newsletters and list management (groups, segmentation)
• Experience maintaining content on Wordpress, Squarespace, and Shopify
• Experience in e-commerce
• Very strong written and oral communication skills
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Excellent follow-through skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
