Specialty Sales Coordinator (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

The Urban Grape, a Best of Boston winning wine, spirits, and craft beer store in the South End of Boston, has an exciting new job opportunity in our ever-growing company. This position will work directly with the Owners of the company and the Director of Operations as they service the online, corporate, and private clients of The Urban Grape. This is a newly created position in the fastest growing division of the company, and has unlimited advancement potential! 

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who will have: 

• A passion for sales and a desire to over-deliver on customer service 
• The ability to take direction well and manage work responsibilities in a timely way while maintaining an attention to detail
• The ability to focus in a fast paced environment with multiple responsibilities 
• An interest in the coordination of logistics and multiple moving pieces 
• A comfort with software like Shopify, Vend, Optimo Route and other tech-based platforms that support the position
• The ability to work with the owners, staff, customers, vendors, distributors, and partners of The Urban Grape with clear and friendly communication
• A working knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer 
• A front-of-house, customer service personality where yes is always the answer!While The Urban Grape’s typical sales positions require a deep knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer, this newly created position is an ideal opportunity for a person with some exposure to the beverage industry and a desire for continued growth. A working knowledge of wine will be helpful; however, by working at The Urban Grape, our new hire will be exposed to a wide spectrum of learning opportunities and his or her knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer will increase exponentially.

This is a full time position with two weeks paid vacation and health care benefits. We encourage and support beverage-based learning that will enable growth in the position.
