ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ability to handle high volume customer communications, with particular emphasis on collections
- Post deposits to customer accounts daily and process remote bank deposits
- Maintain and monitor third party electronic payments
- Audit wholesale transactions for TABC compliance
- Communicate with customers via phone and email to ensure payment is received
- Report Delinquent Accounts to TABC
- Coordinate with customer service department on collection issues to
- Log and report dishonored check payments
- Maintain customer database
- Review and update customer database
- Prepare statements and distribute to customers
- Research and reconcile customer inquiries regarding account status
- Scanning invoices for electronic archival
- Research credit card inquiries
- Assist with other Accounting functions as needed
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be detail oriented and able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Two or more years of experience in cash application and a customer interface position, particularly in either collections or customer service. Good analytical skills required, accounting knowledge a plus. Must be able to function well within a team and independently.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook), Point of Sale experience a plus, 10 key by touch
