Wines Sales Representative (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

INDEPENDENT WINE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

An established wine importer and distributor serving the New York market is seeking motivated Independent Wine Sales Representatives to expand its sales team.

We are looking for experienced wine professionals who enjoy developing relationships, opening new accounts, and building their own territory.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and open new accounts within an assigned territory.

  • Present and sell wines from an international portfolio.

  • Conduct regular account visits and follow up on sales opportunities.

  • Maintain consistent communication regarding orders, account activity, and market feedback.

  • Participate in tastings and portfolio presentations when needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of wine industry and/or wine sales experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of wine and the New York market.

  • Strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.

  • Must have a reliable car and valid driver's license.

  • Must be able to travel regularly throughout the assigned sales territory.

  • Existing relationships with wine shops, liquor stores, and restaurants are a strong plus.
