Are you passionate about wine, people, and creating unforgettable experiences? We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Prosser Tasting Room team at Alexandria Nicole Cellars!

As a Tasting Room Associate, you’ll be more than just a server of wine: you’ll be a storyteller, a guide, and an ambassador of our brand. From welcoming guests with a warm smile, to sharing the unique stories behind each bottle, to creating memorable tasting experiences, you’ll be the face of ANC hospitality.

This role is perfect for those who love connecting with people, bringing energy and positivity to every interaction, and showcasing the very best of Washington wine country. Whether you’re helping guests discover their new favorite wine, guiding them through a flight, or leading the way in customer service, you’ll play a key role in making each visit truly special.

Compensation:

  • Hourly wage would be $16.66 per hour plus tips (anywhere from $5-$10 extra per hour from tip pool).
  • Options to earn an extra $25-$200 plus per day with our daily wine sales incentive program!

Duties and Responsibilities: (include the following, but not limited to)

  • Host customers in a memorable tasting experience
  • Stock shelves and wine cellar
  • Assist in events
  • Other tasks as directed by Tasting Room Manager
  • Keep up to date on procedures, sales tips, event updates, and other pertinent information to aid sales and improve efficiency
  • Work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening and weekend shifts
  • Ensure that all opening and closing procedures are properly followed
  • Follow responsible hospitality standards at all times
  • Maintain a friendly, warm, and clean tasting room environment (inside room and outdoor areas)
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, the ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information and/or situations, and the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly customer service oriented
  • Level of comfort and confidence networking
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all level of employees in a team-oriented environment
  • Other critical skills include planning & organizing; problem identification/resolution, multi-tasking, follow-through skills to bring tasks to closure in a timely manner, priority setting, and having a sense of urgency in accomplishing tasks in a timely manner
  • Experience in tasting room sales or customer service-oriented positions.
  • Passion for knowledge of fine wine and willingness to learn more
  • Excellent hospitality, sales, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Must be available and willing to work evenings and weekends
  • Ability to stand on one’s feet for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.66 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week

  • Wine sales: 2 years (Required)
  • Hospitality: 3 years (Required)
  • Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Wine knowledge: 2 years (Required)
  • Public speaking: 1 year (Required)

Language:

  • English (Required)

License/Certification:

  • MAST Permit (Preferred)
  • Food Handler Certification (Preferred)
