Vineyard Apprentice

Gain experience in agriculture and viticulture! Get trained how to properly care for a vineyard. Tolino Vineyards is hiring for seasonal part-time help. Our flexible working hours allow you to work when you are available. Perfect for a high school or college summer job.

What you will do...

• Develop vineyard cropping plans
• General Vineyard Maintenance (fruit thinning, leaf thinning, cane pruning, training of the vines)
• Analyze soils and plant samples
• Mowing
• Use pruning shears, hand saws
• Perform vineyard scouting for insects and diseases
• Planting grape vines
• Participate in harvesting!

You must be able to...

• Stand and walk for periods of time
• Enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Work independently
• Lift up to 50 pounds

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week

Experience:

• Farming: 1 year (Preferred)
