Logistics, Inventory and Delivery Coordinator

 

This position works closely with the Licensee Wholesale Customer Service Manager, winemaking team and reports to the General Manager.

 

Activities include maintaining inventory control of product. May perform receiving, stocking in addition to inventory control. Maintain inventory records, prepares and reviews reports. Deliver to our wholesale accounts in King County as well as our retail locations.


Inventory/Logistics:
Develop and maintain various reports needed for inventory and warehousing analysis
Insure the timely receipt in the system and locations of all product
Insure the timely receipt of all transfers
Assist in creating training documentation for inventory procedures
Works with managers from the Customer Service, and winery departments to ensure a seamless flow of inventory movement and needs.
Assist with cycle counts for all finished goods items
Help organize and lead the successful completion of physical inventories

Maintain set inventory levels based on time of year, wine club releases, etc.

Be proactive in scheduling inventory movements to stock wine for retail pick-ups and wholesale deliveries

Oversee the restocking of products and ensures product is moved accurately and timely

 

 

Delivery:

Route plan to meet delivery requests while being efficient

Pull wines from inventory for orders and transfers

Maintains a neat and organized environment at all times

Accurately pull appropriate product from assigned locations

Manual stacking, wrapping and preparation of product.

Skills and Abilities

 

Computers skills:

Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Professional communication – both verbal and written
Good mental processing speed and memory recall
Ability to maintain focus during long periods of repetitive tasks
Clean driving record

Perform all aspects of proper operation of fork lift required

Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form

 

Experience:

Minimum of two years experience in a similar capacity

Experience with Warehouse Management Systems a plus

B.A. Preferred



While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
Lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance
Climb a ladder to a height of at least 20 feet
Walk, bend, and climb stairs
Stand for long periods of time
Wear appropriate safety equipment
