Pacific Rim & Company a leading producer of Washington wines located in West Richland, WA is looking to hire a new addition to our crew. This position will primarily support the winery through tracking all wine movements in the winery, entering data into AMS software, and preparing Federal reports. This position will also perform lab testing and provide support to the Lab Manager as needed. During harvest this position will assist in processing and testing of grape samples. Pacific Rim Winemakers will produce over 300,000 cases of wine with a small fanatical crew. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a wine cellar and/or experience processing winery data. There will be extensive overtime during harvest – up to 12 hrs / day - 6 days / week.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Enter work orders and transactions into AMS
• Enter bottling transactions into AMS / APPRISE
• Coordinate cellar work with Cellar Master
• Prepare monthly 702 Report
• Prepare monthly DSP Report
• Keep track of winery chemicals & additions
• Prepare bulk and bottled wine samples
• Perform limited lab testing as needed
• Support Lab Manager as needed
• Process grape samples during harvest
Qualifications
• Prior experience processing and entering winery transactions.
• Prior experience working in the cellar.
• Prior experience with AMS a plus.
• Prior lab experience is a plus
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Extensive overtime during harvest
